Grand Slam for Sustainability
Sloan equipped Coors Field with advanced water-saving solutions, including Sloan Royal® 111 and 186 ESS Sensor Flushometers paired with 78 ST-2459 Wall-mounted Water Closets and 42 SU-7009 Washdown Urinals. These fixtures achieve impressive water usage rates of 1.28 gallons per flush (gpf) and as little as 0.125 gpf, respectively. Each low-flow flushometer contributes to significant reductions in water consumption.
Coors Field has long been a leader in sustainability, from recycling 450 tons of materials annually to introducing the first sustainable garden in Major League Baseball. Sloan products seamlessly align with these initiatives, supporting the stadium’s ongoing environmental commitment.
Going the Distance
The reliability of Sloan’s BASYS® Faucets and Royal Flushometers plays a key role in the efficient operation of Coors Field’s restrooms. These hands-free, sensor-activated fixtures eliminate common wear-and-tear issues associated with manual fixtures, helping the facilities team focus their efforts elsewhere.
In fact, during a trial run in high-usage restrooms during the 2018 baseball season, the BASYS Faucets stood out for their dependability and ease of use. Their low-maintenance design ensures quick upkeep for facility managers, saving time and reducing operational interruptions.
